Ben is a dynamic, highly accomplished singing coach with over a decade of experience training West End performers, UK and international touring actors, and recording professionals. His extensive teaching portfolio spans the UK's top-tier drama schools including Mountview, Laine Theatre Arts, Italia Conti, and the University of Chichester Conservatoire. Formerly he was Head of Music for SLP College, Leeds.
Ben balances a thriving private practice with regular invitations to deliver vocal technique and ensemble singing masterclasses across the UK and abroad. His rigorous coaching methodology is grounded in advanced vocal pedagogy to ensure peak performance based on very clear understanding of vocal function and practical awareness of how these sounds are made.
Ben holds a PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy (Distinction), an MA in Musical Direction from Mountview and a BA (Hons) in Musical (Voice Major) from The University of York and he is an Accredited Vocal Coach with New York Vocal Coaching (NYVC). He is currently working toward his EFP with Estill Voice International and Integrative Studies certification with One Voice Ltd and is a registered Vocal Health First Aider (VHFA) with Vocal Health UK.
