TEACHING
Ben is a dynamic and progressive singing coach with over 10 years experience teaching across leading drama schools recently including Mountview, Laine Theatre Arts, MPAA and Italia Conti. Formerly, he was Head of Music for SLP College, Leeds and has led Technical Singing modules for All In Actors, D&B Academy and PQA College. Ben is Resident Singing Coach for internationally renowned Spirit Young Performers Company and South London Youth Theatre.
Alongside working on professional productions, Ben runs a thriving private practice offering coaching in technical singing, repertoire and audition preparation for industry and drama school auditions. His clients can be seen across the West End, on UK and international tours and as lead vocalists on leading cruise lines.
Ben's own training includes an MA in Musical Direction from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy (with Distinction) (University of Wales Trinity St. David), BA (Hons) in Music (Voice major), VHFA in Vocal Health First Aid (registered with Vocal Health UK) and Level 1 and 2 with Estill Voice International. He is currently working toward Integrative Studies certification with One Voice and his Certificate of Figure Proficiency with Estill International.
